ORDER
K. Surender, J.–1. This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus , directing the respondents 1 to 3 to rectify the errors in the petitioner's provident fund records, including under UAN No. 101794950637, by deleting the name and all related details of the fourth respondent as the petitioner's employer.
2. According to the petitioner, he has been employed with HCL Technologies since 2022 and his provident fund contributions were regularly remitted under UAN No. 101794950637 without any discrepancy. However, an incorrect employer entry associated with the petitioner's UAN was made. Hence, the petitioner made an application to rectify the incorrect entry in his Provident Fund records, particularly, concerning the name of the petitioner's employer. Since no action has been taken, the petitioner has approached this Court by way of filing the present Writ Petition.
3. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 submits that the erroneous entry will be rectified within a period of four weeks.
4. Recording the aforesaid submission, this Writ Petition is disposed of, with a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to rectify the erroneous entry in the petitioner's Universal Account Number [UAN] and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
