Anganwadi Workers and Helpers, being employees of a statutorily recognised establishment paid wages termed honorarium, are entitled to gratuity under the Payment of Gratuity Act, 1972, following Maniben Maganbhai Bhariya, irrespective of the State not being a party to that judgment.
